To Whom It May Concern:
FrameKeeper is an idea that is long over-due in the construction
industry. Damage to aluminum or custom doorframes always have
been a punch list nightmare for contractors due to the amount
of skilled
trades involved in a repair.
This product is easy to install, allows you to paint without removing,
and very durable. The first project that we used the prototype on,
we had a demonstration of this product’s worth. One of the
contractors was moving a scissor-lift thru an existing, custom aluminum
doorframe and got confused about the controls on the lift. Instead
of slowing down he accelerated and struck the frame hard enough
to knock ceiling tile out of the grid. When we removed the FrameKeeper
to survey the damage, we were astounded that there wasn’t
even a scratch.
A lot of thought went into the design and characteristics that make
up this device. Doorframes can be protected at typical damage heights,
i.e. dollies, wheel-barrows, sheet rock dollies, and scaffolding.
If the doorframe headers need protection during furniture move-in,
the snap on fillers can be used. This is a truly versatile product.
The FrameKeepers are completely reusable, and they "nest" so
that they take up a minimum amount of storage space. They don’t
require any special installation tools and no formal training
to install.
